The events, held in Cape Town and Gauteng, brought together contractors, engineers and industry partners to celebrate what Advantage Air Africa calls a milestone for the region’s HVAC sector.

Welcoming attendees, Johan Joubert, director of Advantage Air Africa, highlighted both the importance of the partnership and the value it brings to the market.

“For years, many of you have asked why you can’t buy fans from Advantage Air.You get most of your components from us, so why not the fans too? We listened. After carefully reviewing suppliers around the world, we found a brand we can proudly put our name on – Vortice. With over 60 years of Italian engineering expertise, they deliver the quality and reliability this industry deserves,” Joubert explained.

The Vortice Lineo range

The new Lineo inline fans are designed to meet the practical needs of contractors, engineers and building owners alike. Joubert emphasised the standout features: “With the Lineo range, we’re bringing high performance with low noise, compact and easy installation and long-life durability. This means less time on site, fewer call-backs and happier clients. On top of that, we’re offering a two-year warranty – unmatched in the inline fan market today.”

The Lineo range comes in two options:

  • AC models (red motors) – the standard range, available locally
  • ES models (green motors) – the energy-saving brushless option, available on request for projects requiring maximum efficiency

Joubert described the ES models as “our answer to the market’s growing need for sustainable, energy-efficient solutions – giving engineers and contractors the flexibility to choose”.

Tools and support for the trade

The launch also introduced a new specification tool for contractors, helping streamline project design and compliance. “We know contractors need lightweight, plug-and-play products, and engineers need reliable performance data that ties directly into SANS specifications. That’s why we’ve invested in tools and support services to make your work easier. Whether online or through our office, we’ll be there to guide you,” said Joubert.

For Advantage Air Africa, the launch is about more than just introducing a fan. Joubert made it clear that reliability and partnership are central to their vision.

“Airflow isn’t just about moving air – it’s about comfort, safety and energy efficiency. With Vortice, we can deliver on all three. But what matters just as much is local stockholding, fast deliveries and reliable after-sales support. This is a partnership – not just between Advantage Air Africa and Vortice, but with you, the contractors and engineers who make projects happen.”

The launch concluded with Joubert’s light-hearted message to the industry: “Contractors and engineers are like fans – you work under pressure, you can spin all day, and when you get switched off, nothing happens. We’re proud to be on this journey with you, and together, let’s move some serious air.
