The event on 16 November 2023 at the Kelvin Grove Club commenced with a warm welcome from the SAIRAC Cape Town Centre vice-chairman, Steven Palvi, who expressed gratitude to all attendees for their continued support and commitment.
The luncheon was a resounding success, with ± 185 attendees thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to connect, network and meet acquaintances within the industry. The event was made memorable by the presence of renowned comedian Barry Hilton, who provided first-rate entertainment throughout the afternoon.

With a microphone in hand, he effortlessly commanded the stage and instantly connected with the audience on a personal level. He interacted with attendees, incorporating their responses and reactions into his act. This personalised touch made the experience even more memorable as his ability to find humour in everyday situations resonated with the attendees, resulting in uproarious laughter that echoed throughout the venue.
As the luncheon progressed, guests were treated to a three-course meal that showcased the culinary expertise of the Kelvin Grove Club’s talented chefs.
The menu featured a variety of mouthwatering dishes, catering to different dietary preferences and ensuring that everyone’s taste buds were satisfied. The success of the SAIRAC Annual Luncheon would not have been possible without the collective efforts of all those involved – a heartfelt thank you to the organisers, all who attended and following the companies for their support:
