With a focus on both local roots and global excellence, CEISLAB SA aims to become a leading force in the testing, certification and support sectors, delivering cutting-edge services to a wide range of industries.

At the launch on 4 February, Justin Marberg, the CEO of CEISLAB SA, emphasised the importance of maintaining South African roots while integrating advanced European technologies and methodologies. “Our commitment to South Africa remains strong, and we understand the unique challenges our local market faces. We are dedicated to providing solutions that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of our local clients.”

One of the lab’s key achievements is becoming the first accredited plastics and pulp testing laboratory on the African continent. Marberg pointed out that this milestone was achieved through meticulous work, overcoming uncertainties and adhering to rigorous standards. However, he stressed that accreditation goes beyond a certificate – it is a deep commitment to transparency, communication, and efficiency that drives CEISLAB SA’s operations.

“We believe in transparency in our testing and our systems. We want to keep our clients informed every step of the way, ensuring they understand exactly why a failure occurred, if it happens, and how we can support them through it,” Marberg explained.

CEISLAB SA uses state-of-the-art technologies. The laboratory has implemented an automated report generation system, which allows clients to receive their test reports instantly – a significant improvement in turnaround times. “Our reports are generated in seconds, ensuring that there is no unnecessary waiting time. Any changes are reflected immediately, providing our clients with timely and accurate information,” Marberg stated.
