With the new testo 860i, Testo presents an innovative, wireless thermal imager for smartphones that has been specially developed for fast and precise spot checks.
The testo 860i is the ideal solution for heating, air conditioning and refrigeration technicians, maintenance and building services specialists, and for numerous other areas of application. Thanks to its ease of use, razor-sharp thermal images (256px x 192px) and seamless integration into the testo Smart App, it offers high efficiency and flexibility in the thermal inspection of technical systems, components and building features such as windows, doors and walls.

Fast and precise measurements for a wide range of applications
With the testo 860i, temperature differences (Delta T) and heat sources (hotspots) can be determined quickly and reliably directly in the thermal image.
Together with the testo Smart App, the imager offers a wide range of practical measurement programs that make everyday work much easier:
- Thermography: Easily detect hot electrical connections, contactors and circuit-breakers and motors. Detects failing bearings, misaligned belts, temperatures on pumps and any other mechanical fault that may cause friction and heat. Ideal for checking faulty, or poorly maintained insulation.
- DeltaT: Temperature differences between two points that
- can be freely selected on the screen.
- HotSpot and ColdSpot detection: Two dynamic measurements that track the hottest and coldest spot in view and display their temperatures live.
- Reporting: Easily generate and edit a comprehensive report on-site from your mobile device, without the need for paperwork, or a PC.
These functions allow rapid diagnosis of problems that would otherwise remain undetected and could potentially lead to costly or dangerous follow-on damage.
Easy handling and flexible use
The testo 860i not only impresses with its high functionality, but also with its exceptional user-friendliness. Thanks to the retractable clip, the imager can be attached directly to the smartphone or tablet, allowing easy one-handed operation.
