Danfoss is stepping up its support for liquid cooling in data centres, with a particular focus on Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), as the rapid rise of AI and high-performance computing drives up rack densities and thermal loads beyond the limits of traditional air cooling.

The company notes that CDUs play a central role in modern liquid cooling architectures, managing system performance, efficiency and spatial footprint. Achieving optimal results, it argues, depends on tightly integrated technologies rather than standalone components.
To support OEMs and system integrators, Danfoss offers modular solutions, integrated technologies and system-level expertise for the development of advanced cooling architectures. Its liquid cooling portfolio includes Alsense controllers, heat exchangers, drives, sensors, pressure-independent valves, as well as valves and strainers.
This integrated approach is designed to enhance thermal performance, reduce system complexity, optimise footprint and accelerate both development and deployment. Danfoss adds that its manufacturing and supply chain presence across Europe, North America and Asia enables customers to scale and roll out solutions globally.
