Abstracts are being accepting for the ASHRAE and SCANVAC HVAC Cold Climate Conference 2023, to be held in Anchorage, Alaska, March 6 – 8, 2023, at the Marriott Anchorage Downtown. This conference will address unique challenges and solutions for climate change in cold and arctic communities.

ASHRAE formally opened its new global headquarters building on 18 November, following a ribbon cutting ceremony, attended by its board of directors, top building campaign donors, elected officials and local guests.
ASHRAE was represented at the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, held from October 31-November 12. ASHRAE formally participated as a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) and an official COP observer. The United Nations granted permission for select organisations to participate in COP26 activities.
The winners of 2021 ASHRAE Student Design Competition and Applied Engineering Challenge have been announced. The competitions encourage students to become involved in the design of energy-efficient HVAC systems – a profession that is crucial to ensuring a sustainable future for the earth.
Registration is open for hybrid 2021 ASHRAE Building Performance Analysis Conference. This will be ASHRAE’s first hybrid conference, where virtual attendees will have access to live sessions, participate in speaker Q&A as well as interact with both virtual and in-person conference attendees.
