Industry is invited to attend this online zoom Technical Talk on 18 August 2022. The topic will be on techno-economic relevance of absorption chillers.
This talk will be presented by Arshad Ali Khan of EHVAC Pty Ltd who is a passionate engineer and entrepreneur. He is a member of SAIRAC, serving the HVAC industry for over a decade. He will also explore new methods and equipment to maximise power saving in AC HVAC applications.
The synopsis of this talk is that the International Energy Agency expects a threefold increase of worldwide space cooling demand for residential and industrial sectors by 2050, compared to 2016.
On the one hand, most of this demand involves countries with hot and humid climates whose interest in district cooling solutions is also increasing. Global warming on the other hand is also increasing demand for cooling, while the environment cannot bear the brunt of CFC usage.
All this compels us to re-examine our strategy toward meeting cooling requirements both at the industrial and residential levels.
