The Johannesburg region is pleased to announce the 6th course for 2022. This course will be presented by Mr. Anton Kotze.

The skills gap found in the industry is well known and much talked about. These courses are aimed at the gap that exists between the artisan / technician level and engineers.

Anton Kotze holds a B.Eng, Mechanical. He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Pretoria and an M.Eng, Mechanical at the Rand Afrikaans University in thermodynamics and heat transfer. Kotze recently joined forces with DSP Consulting and was appointed as lead mechanical engineer.

 Course Outcomes:

  • The importance of carrying out an accurate building survey in order to obtain a realistic estimate of cooling and heating requirement.
  • Determine the correct inside and outside design conditions for the building under consideration.
  • Calculate the total cooling and heating requirements of a building, including coil air quantities.

Venue: This will be an online Zoom course presented over three evenings.
