Registration has opened for the 2021 edition of shecco’s online trade show for natural refrigerants and sustainable cooling technologies taking place between 30-31 – VTS 2.0.
Again taking place over a 24-hour period at the end of March, the virtual trade show for natural refrigerant technologies is expected to attract more than 100 exhibitors and over 5
The event, designed for the global refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump industry, will take place from 10H00 CET on March 30 to 10H00 CET on March 31. The organiser says the show is designed to fill the physical trade show void as the world continues to grapple with the Covid-19 pandemic.
The first such event, held last year in September (2020), attracted 77 natural refrigerant companies as exhibitors and more than 4 200 attendees from over 1 500 organisations around the world.
“ATMO VTS 2021 will give that ‘real’ trade show feeling, which is much needed these days,” said Marc Chasserot, CEO of shecco. “The platform allows us to explore different halls, listen to live presentations, and make valuable connections with customers and suppliers from all over the world.”
During the 24-hour live event, exhibitors will be able to interact with participants through real-time chat, audio and one-on-one video capabilities. Company delegates will be represented by personalised avatars of their actual images, making them easily recognisable to colleagues.
New to the VTS 2021: every booth will have an integrated meeting room, making it possible for exhibitors to plan their own line-up of meetings, presentations or product launches.
Amongst some interesting new additions and improvements to last year’s event is the launch of new product innovation awards. The 24-hour live webinars will include presentations on shecco’s first annual report on the natural refrigerants industry, global training, the new EU F-gas regulation update, as well as food retail experiences from around the world.
Exhibitors at ATMO VTS 2021 can nominate a new natural refrigerant-based product (introduced between January 1, 2020, and February 28, 2021) to be considered for three Innovation of the Year Awards (Gold, Silver, Bronze). The awards, based on voting by show attendees, will go to innovative products having, or expected to have, a significant impact on the market. Deadline for nominations is close-of-business CET March 1.
