Next Eurovent Summit to move to 2022

Originally due to take place in Antalya, Turkey, in September 2020, the event had previously been postponed to October of this year. Now the association has announced that this date will also not be possible due to ongoing pandemic conditions.

The ongoing Covid-19 outbreaks already forced the postponement of the summit, however after carefully evaluating the situation, the organisers have decided that the Summit will be further postponed to 2022. Concrete dates will be announced later in the year. The next edition of the Eurovent Summit is still scheduled to take place in Antalya, Turkey.

Naci Sahin, outgoing Eurovent President and representative of the local Member Association and Summit co-organiser ISKID, stated: “While this was not an easy decision to make, the health and safety of the participants is our number one priority. We believe that moving the event to 2022 is an opportunity rather than a setback. Seeing the increasing vaccination rates and the world slowly waking up and going back to normal, we are hopeful that further postponing the event will allow us to host a full-scale Eurovent Summit with all its features and perks.”

Each alternate year, the Eurovent AssociationEurovent Certita Certification (ECC) and Eurovent Market Intelligence (EMI) welcome the indoor climate, process cooling, and food cold chain industry from Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa and beyond, to their Summit. With on average more than 500 manufacturers, industry associations, engineering societies, laboratories and political decision-makers participating in around 50 meetings, seminars, and events, it has developed into a major meeting place of our industry with a reach beyond the EMEA region.
